First Big bike on 33bhp restricted licence

So youve passed your test, well congrats!
But if you havent already got a bike your stuck with making the right choice for you, which can be pritty difficult as their are so many bikes on the market. Never fear the bike review is here to help.

The right bike for you if you on a 33BHP licence
Older sub-33bhp bikes: There are plenty of older bikes out there, especially grey imports, that are already under the 33bhp power limit. Bear in mind tho you will have to be careful about condition, because by now they would of been through the hands of quite alot of new riders. Look out for worn consumables such as tyres and chains etc. Here is a list of some 33bhp bikes,

    .1992-1995 SUZUKI GOOSE
    348cc a/c single, 33bhp, 145kg, 15L tank
Import only featherweight oddity using DR350 engine and a great handling little chassis. Quite a few about but be very careful of condition. Price range: £400-£900

    .1988-1992 HONDA BROS 400
    398cc l/c 52 degree V-twin 31bhp, 181kg 11L tank, Ins grp 9
Another fine handling slimline import with a tough motor. Loads around, spares supply good. Easily upgraded with CBR parts. Price range: £300-£800

    others

    .2000-on ENFIELD BULLET CLASSIC
    499cc a/c single, 28bhp, 187kg, 14.5L tank ins grp 6

    .1991-2000 SUZUKI DR350
    348cc a/c single, 29.6bhp, 130kg, 9L tank, ins grp 7

You dont have to have a bike thats already 33bhp you can restrict any bike, but we wouldn't recommend restricting a 1000cc as it would just drag.....alot. If you are going to restrict it would be best on a 600cc or below as it would cope better.
So we hoped we gave you an idea of what you can have, if you have any suggestions then write em down Laughing
    Thanks for reading.
